As we have already mentioned, only the factory version of Android OS has been released. For this, you must first unlock your phone’s bootloader by becoming a developer.
For this, hold down your phone’s power button and the Volume Down button, your phone’s bootloaded menu will be open.
Connect your phone to a computer or laptop and give the ./adb devices command.
Now run the ./adb reboot bootloader given in the bootloader menu.
A list will appear in your phone in which you have to keep the bootloader unlock in the lock state device.
After the bootloader is unlocked, go to the factory image page and download the latest factory image and make it uncompressed.
Keep in mind that your phone is connected to your computer device. As soon as your phone’s serial number is flash on the screen, your phone is ready to be updated.
Open the ./fastboot devices and click on ./fastboot flash bootloader [bootloader file] .img.
A command prompt or dialog box appears on the screen of your phone, after which you have to reboot your phone by clicking the ./fastboot reboot-bootloader.
Reboot ./fastboot flash radio [radio file] Click on .img to update the phone’s radio.
After this, click ./fastboot reboot-bootloader, you will have a system image in the phone.
./fastboot -w update [image file] Click on .zip and your phone will be equipped with Android version’s latest version ‘O’.
Keep in mind that after installing the latest version of an Android, your phone will be like a brand new device. That means all the data on your phone will be erased, so it is better that you already back up your phone. At the moment it is only available in pixels, pixels XL, pixels C, Nexus 6P, Nexus 5X and Nexus Player.
